Show Me St.Louis Valentine Crafts

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much to everyone who tuned in today. What you didn't see behind the scenes today was the mess of trying to park downtown. Many of the spots around KSDK are well...snowbanked...and ice covered. But thankfully I found a decent spot...didn't slip and made it inside the studio with nothing breaking. (or myself falling!(lol) Parking for the show sometimes is more work than all the crafts I tell you!lol

Today, tomorrow and Friday I will share all the crafts that were shown on today's broadcast. So be sure to check back in as I'll post everything shown.

Up first...those adorable and so easy to make plates!

Valentine Dinner Wear

Craft Mom Tip: I picked up these fun plates at Target on clearance knowing my family would get a kick out of using them for sandwiches, snacks and those plates of cookies that always seem to be around.

Supplies:
Glue Arts Accent It All vinyl...Dazzle Me Red, White Out, Goin Green and Tickle Me Pink (can be purchased online at www.GlueArts.com) **Pick up some spring colors too!
Sizzix Big Shot Die Cut System - Heart Layers, Flower Layers Dies
Cricut Expression - All Mixed Up and Doodlecharms Cartridges
Plates

This craft I didn't bring on the show but it's still sweet and very easy to make!

Love Notes Mailbox

Supplies:
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac, Extreme Adhesive Squares
Shabby Chic Crafts Valentine Potpourri Set
May Arts Ribbons
Little Yellow Bicycle Pins
Mailbox

*Great craft for kids! Sweet, simple and cute!

1) Cut a piece of felt to cover the top of a jar. Use Extreme Adhesive Squares to adhere felt to jar lid. Tie ribbon around jar after you fill it with some yummy candies!
2) Adhere the diecuts to the mailbox. Save the postcard one to write a special message on for your sweetie!
3) Set the mailbox on top of the jar and leave for someone special!!

And as promised...here is the site where you can find the Valentine Subway Print Download. Keep in mind...if you have Microsoft Word and some fun fonts...you can make this too. Make one for your children...your family...the possibilities are ENDLESS!!

Tune in tomorrow for information about the "hand print" banner and Felt Hearts and Friday for the Tote Bag!
