STAMPS
Going along with our movie theme, the stamps for February have a star quality all their own. We've got a viewfinder card, another addition to our Day in the Life series, and an all purpose alphabet, one you'll be using a lot!

ANOTHER ADDITION
Starting with the February kit, we're pleased to announce that Ashley Calder will be joining the Cocoa Daisy Design Team!
Ashley's got a fresh and funky style and we are so happy she's agreed to spend some time with us, inspiring us with her love of glittery gold things. Be on the lookout for her gallery come the end of the month!
Here's a short introduction:
When I was a child, I collected wrapping paper. I loved the dictionary, and wrote extensive illustrated journal entries. I collected found paper clips whenever I spotted one; the rusty ones are a special score. These things are still true today. I am a scrapbooker.
I live in southern Ontario with my partner Paul, our three wonderful daughters, and two very dull orange cats.

JANUARY'S GUEST DESIGNER:
Christina Clouse
Need some inspiration? If you haven't had a chance to check out her Cocoa Daisy Guest Designer gallery yet, you are in for a huge treat! Stephanie suggested I ask Christina Clouse to be our January Guest Designer, and holy cow, she was so spot on! Christina is amazing! She's got a lovely grunged up style and captures her life in Seattle with such class, it makes me miss living there!
Here's more about Christina in her own words:
I am 30 years old and I recently moved into an old house in a very industrial part of Seattle. I live with my partner of 13 years, Greg, along with assorted books, plants, and nerdy and crafty projects. I am often to be found with ink or paint on my hands and a cup of iced coffee nearby. I also work for Starbucks Global HR, so this means that loving coffee is mandatory. I adore photography and collecting old film cameras. I also have completely trashy taste in reading novels - I love urban fantasy detective stories - if there is a vampire or a faerie solving crimes, I am totally there. I also love to go to our local beaches and visit the markets; random city adventures keep me inspired.
We are so grateful Christina agreed to join us and she's also promised a little tutorial later on in the month, so be on the look out for that! You can check out Christina's blog, Coffee Girl Crafts, she's got lots and lots of inspiration.

Many of our design team members decided to come to the Winter CHA show and we've had a great time getting to know each other better in REAL LIFE. Sharmaine's here all the way from Australia, Lisa came on a mini vacation from England, Denise made it from snowy Montana, Stephanie from Chattanooga, Mandy and Christine from balmy Michigan, and Emily's staying warm (even though it's been cold in Anaheim) as it hovers in the single digits in Denver.
But since not everyone got to come, Mandy Koeppen made the rest into Flat Designers so they could be a part of the fun. Here they are all tucked in for bed at the end of their travel day.

DO YOU LIKE US ON FACEBOOK?
Facebook now requires page administrators to pay to promote their updates if we want our content to be seen by our fans. If we do not pay to promote our posts, only about 10% of the fans receive the updates on the Facebook home page feed.
To keep RECEIVING ALL POSTS FROM COCOA DAISY you have to open our Cocoa Daisy page, hover the mouse on the "Like" button near the gear symbol. In the pop-up select "ADD TO THE INTEREST LISTS". Then create an interest list (Make a name for your sites). Then when you select that interest list you will see ALL of our posts and you won't miss anything important!
We recommend that you follow the above instructions for ANY Facebook page you care about, so you can continue seeing all the posts from the pages you love.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Word is getting out about Cocoa Daisy! To avoid disappointment when kits and add ons sell out too quickly, sign up for a subscription. You'll save some money with a six month subscription AND you'll have a much better chance of getting everything you want for the month since subscribers get first dibs on the 28th!
