Addicted to Rubber Stamps - Stenciling and Embossing Sale Plus Techniques

Join in the latest trend of stenciling! Shop the affordable inventory of stencils which can be used with spray inks, daubers, watercolors, embossing pastes and more — all discounted up to 40% off through Thursday, June 26th. Here's a few techniques and suggestions to get you started:
  • For a messy but fun technique, try adding your favorite inks to the stencil with a sponge, spritz it with water and lay a sheet of paper over the stencil, pressing down over the paper so it will “stamp” onto your paper.
  • Love embossing? Use your stencils like an embossing folder by sending it through your die cutting machine with the correct sandwich to create an impression. Want to do it the old fashioned way? ARB has put embossing folders on sale too!
  • Feeling really crafty? Use your favorite colors of Gelatos to add color to your paper, blending the colors together if you like. Place your stencil over the colored paper and start rubbing the Gelatos off with a baby wipe. Just note Gelatos are water-soluble, so you will want to seal it.
  • Finally, try using your embossing powders with stencils instead of stamps. Apply your favorite slow drying ink to the open areas of the stencil, then sprinkle and heat set the embossing powder.
