Journal Starters
You know how you felt when you were around 12 years old, riding your bike down a long straight street in your neighborhood, on a beautiful afternoon, feeling free and not a care in the world? Well that's how I felt when I got my journal stamps, artisan ink and sponges out and started stamping and coloring. The same beautiful freedom was back, and it was wonderful!
Remember everything is possible by this simple stamping start.
This is a really good way to begin your journal journey.
Stamps and Inks used:
|
1. Experiment with heavyweight sketch paper, watercolor paper, jumbo tags,
even try computer paper.
2. Drag and scrub a sponge across the paper creating a variety of different marks and textures.
3. Let go of perfection...be spontaneous and embrace happy accidents!
|
Play with color. Dare to stamp for a least hour in all colors of the rainbow
and then stack the papers in small groups of colors that you love and that tie together.
Your energy is building and this simple prompt relaxes and calms,
but at the same time inspires and empowers you.
Stamps and Colors-
Stamped with artisan ink color straight out of the bottle on these sponges cut into quarters.
