| Grafting is a wonderful, valuable technique to add to your knitting repertoire.
A grafted join connects two separate pieces of fabric seamlessly with
an imitation of a knitted row. This allows for a stretchy, flat join
that has the same drape as the rest of the fabric and appears
continuous. |

| In
your first lesson, Anne will walk you step-by-step through grafting in
plain stockinette, tensioning your stitches, and finishing the graft. Next, Anne will show you how to graft textured fabric in garter stitch, in seed stitch, and in ribbing. |
| In the following lesson, you'll see how to graft lace. Anne will also teach you match lace motifs by editing patterns for optimum, seamless results. |
