New Creative Kids' Projects from Fiskars

Fiskars® The Original Orange Handled Scissors Company®
Emma Jeffrey New Year’s Resolution: January’s Child’s Embellished Hoodie project and Tania Willis’ KidART Resolution Tracking Journal project
This year, show your kids the joys of creativity!
Getting your kids involved with creative activities is a great way to help stimulate their minds, improve their motor skills, foster a sense of accomplishment and keep them busy. But where do you begin? Sewing expert Emma Jeffrey and crafting expert Tania Willis have some great ideas to help you out. As part of Emma’s New Year’s resolution, she’s making one article of children’s clothing per month and sharing all the step-by-step instructions with you. To start, she’s making a cool Urban Hoodie that will keep your kids warm without offending their delicate sense of style. Even though your kids won’t be able to help with the machine sewing aspect of this project, it will still teach them the valuable lesson that clothes you make yourself are extra special. For hands-on crafting with kids, Tania Willis will be showcasing one craft project per month that kids can make with a few basic tools, household supplies and a little adult supervision. Check out her Resolution Tracking Journal to see how she’s getting the year off to an exciting start with her children, and make sure to check back every month for more fun projects.
