Buy pinecones in a bag at your local craft store such as Jo-Ann's. Pinecones from your yard have little bugs in them that will come out when they get warm. Pinecones from the store have already been "de-bugged" and are often scented, so not only will your decorations be beautiful, but they will smell great too!
